We will be working at making our own blends with alpaca - alpaca and mohair for strong sock yarn, alpaca and wool for nice springy yarn to make garments with, and then natural alpaca for hats, scarves, woven items and whatever else the imagination will offer.
ANGORA RABBIT - Soft, silky, luxurious are just some words to describe the wonderful feel that you get once you touch some beautiful fiber from these adorable bunnies! This will be specialty runs probably only offered once or twice per year
ANGORA GOAT - Mohair is called "the diamond fiber" because of its wonderful strength. The silky locks sheared from this delightful goat yield wonderful options of use.
LLAMA - This fiber lends itself to hard-wearing items, locker hooked or punch-needle rugs, outer wear and even woodsmen socks. There are lots of ways to utilize this hardy fiber. If you felted llama fiber you could make awesome horse blankets, or some neat fabric to make bags?
